The Six Line Wrasse is an immensely popular marine ornamental fish that is very common in the trade. Its popularity is derived from the fact that it is small, cheap and has gorgeous coloration. They are a common find in the Indo-Pacific oceans and are collected in large numbers for the marine aquarium hobby.
It is called the Six Line Wrasse because of the six blue line streaking horizontally across an orange body. This is a cheap and hardy wrasse with prices usually below $20 for a specimen.

Because the Six Line Wrasse is a relatively small fish, they are well suited to aquariums below the 50 gallon range. They adapt very well to life and captivity and are generally disease resistant as well. They are also very well known for consuming bristle worms in the aquarium. You will see them scanning the live rock for any tasty morsel for them to consume.
There have even been some reports of the six line wrasse consuming flatworms as well. However, its best not to count on it should you have a flatworm problem. In the wild, they are carnivores that feed on worms and a wide variety of smaller crustaceans. They easily adapt to prepared foods in captivity. Meaty foods should be offered on a daily basis. Mysis shrimp, krill, prime reef, formula one and the like are great choices to offer. If you're looking for dry pellets or flake foods, Formula one and new life spectrum pellets are both great choices. Overall, the Six Line Wrasse is a great choice for beginners and veterans alike and are uniquely qualified as great specimens for larger Nano Aquariums.
